CMA CGM, Connect French Guiana to the World

Since its opening in 1965, SOMARIG has been a major player into the development of French Guiana. In 1999, SOMARIG became a 100% owned affiliate of CMA CGM Group, one of the biggest container carrier worldwide and connect French Guiana to the world through its presence within 160 countries and its large fleet of over 500 vessels.

Somarig is besides being the Agent for CMA CGM, Stevedores of the port of Degrad Des Cannes through the Gemag, road transporter with its trucking fleet, and ship agent.

Since 1st of January 2023 our agency SOMARIG has been renamed to CMA CGM French Guiana.
